CCEJN and VISIÓN partners are in the process of hiring a manager for the VISIÓN (Voices In Solidarity Against Oil In Neighborhoods) coalition. VISIÓN is an environmental justice coalition representing frontline communities impacted by neighborhood oil drilling in Kern and Los Angeles Counties. The coalition works to phase out all neighborhood oil drilling and protect impacted communities from the harms of oil extraction. We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated coalition builder with 3-5 years of relevant experience in environmental justice, policy advocacy, or community organizing. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish preferred), thrives in a collaborative environment, and has strong writing and communication skills. This is a fully remote position based anywhere in California, with occasional travel to the San Joaquin Valley, Sacramento, and LA. Salary range is $85,000–$88,000, and a benefits package.
