Renewable Energy Consumption by State

Last week climatedesk.org mapped out the renewable energy consumption by
states using data from the federal Energy Information Administration in the year of
2011. I think it is important for us to know a little more about what sources
of renewable energy are trending as we oppose dangerous practices like fracking
and the proposed HECA power plant in Kern County. It is important for us to
convey a desire for renewable energy as a way of ridding our communities of
pollutant and toxic practices. We can send a clear message to make hydro, solar,
or wind power plants the industries that become the norm and not the alternative!
